Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Hypnotherapy. Compulsive Behaviour Treatments
Alcohol and drugs taken excessively, or any other addictive behaviours, like obsessive compulsive disorder, food addiction, jealousy or possessive behaviours, neediness, or seeking approval, disturbs the delicate balance of the essential mechanisms in our mind and bodies.
You may havedevelopedbeliefsthat you really cannot change or break through your addictive behaviours because you have tried before and not succeeded. It may have even triggered feelings of Depression.
You may have found it difficult to make that final decision to even want to stop your addictivebehaviours, or that any anxiety or stress which is triggered from any such decision, threatens your own sense of security or comfort, so providing you no ‘space’ in your mind for the very concept, or possibility, of ever changing your addictive behaviour in the present or the future.
This kind of repetitive pattern, will continue to draw you into a vicious cycle of stress or anxiety, which continues to drive your addictive behaviour further, and the misplaced beliefs you have stored in your mind, become more dominant. You may have even found yourself falling deeper into depression, because of your inability to stop this addictive behaviour from disrupting your everyday life.
In those who suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) they can often become dominated by perfectionist traits, which mean they are terrified of ‘getting it wrong’, or not being ‘in control.’ Their overwhelming fear is ‘not being able to cope’, and they feel compelled to protect themselves again and again with obsessive compulsive behaviours, to the detriment of their own wellbeing.

Cognitive Therapy
Most of the assumptions we make through life are derived from childhood experiences, or from attitudes and opinions of peers or parents. We are all made aware at some point in our life, how our subconscious minds can recall deep-seated or buried information, from sometime in our lifetime, and then uses this information in the form of automatic responses, like those of anxiety or unwanted behavioural patterns.
Cognitive Therapy helps you to identify all your unwanted anxiety emotions and accompanying thoughts in a relaxed and comfortable manner. Once identified, we can then look for ways in which any of those distorted or unhelpful thoughts relate to those anxiety emotions, thus allowing you to discover new alternative ways of thinking, which are more positive and solution-focused and enable you to set clear and realistic goals. Goals with which you feel comfortable with, and inspired by.
Hypnotherapy and Positive Visualisation are very powerful, safe, and effective form of therapies: Each of us has the capabilities to control every one of our thoughts and emotions. Hypnotherapy and Positive Visualisation techniques makes it easier, because it enables us to communicate with the part of our mind we call the ‘subconscious’.
You CAN beat this addictive, compulsive habit right now. Be determined to stop and take action by learning these techniques through these amazing holistic therapy treatments . It's safe, it is successful and it doesn't have any harmful or negative side effects!.....I guarantee you won't be disappointed.....Your body is your shrine....When you take care of yourself and your body, you are strong and in control of everything you do.......So allow yourself the FREEDOM you so deserve!

Understanding the Nature of Addictive Behaviours
The most basic emotional problems, which can often propel you to use drugs or alcohol excessively or to develop an addictive behaviour - are anxiety, depression and guilt. The 'drug' taking or habitual behaviour pattern, becomes your RELIEF, sometimes your reward in escape of these problems, but this 'relief' is only temporary and just serves to create a bigger imbalance in the body's chemistry, causing the 'relief' to become a compulsive craving or habit.
When the nature of compulsive behaviour of any kind, is understood, then so is the successful means for dealing with it.Which is why I continue to maintain and express that once understood,Hypnosis is the safest, successful and most uncomplicatedmethod of treatment for this kind of behaviour.
Allow yourself the FREEDOM you deserve! Contact Cathy - 07970 947024. Allow yourself to be inspired!
The duration of time a person has been compulsive or used drugs or alcohol, as well as the amount taken, has a decided effect on the severity of the symptoms that a person experiences. The understanding of the mind-body relationship is imperative in dealing with the stress 'symptoms' involved. Effectively, by changing the thought patterns, you can readily change the symptoms.
