If you live out of the Warwickshire area, or you are unable to get to my Practice because of diificulties with childcare, or you have a disability and are unable to get about easily, you do have the option of going through the cognitive behavioural therapy programme with me, by telephone or video link on the internet through Skype. Skype is free to download - just follow the instructions available, and enjoy free Skype to Skype calls.
Firstly you need to ring me for your FREE Consultation. This is a very important part of the therapy process, because it will help me to gather as much relevant information as necessary regarding the history and development of the stress; anger; depression; anxiety; or addictive behaviour experiences of which you wish to change, as well as any other relevant factors.
It will also help me to determine which induction/programme is best for you, then we can look at some of the benefits that cognitive behavioural therapy can give you in empowering and motivating you, dispelling any stress; fear; depression symptoms, anxiety or anger issues; or any addictive behaviours you may have, and so enabling you to strengthen your confidence or self esteem
The consultation is very informal and relaxed, and from there, if you feel that Cognitive behavioural Therapy is the right process for you, we can then look at booking your appointment programme in the diary as soon as possible from that point.

My fees depend on the method of treatment chosen within your therapy programme, but discounts for students, and low-income earners, are available and can be discussed during the consultation.
One programme primarily consists of 3 -6 sessions (depending on treatment) - of which each session would last around 60 Minutes, and would take place once or twice a week, at a specific time.
Simply by coming to this page, it confirms that you are already considering help in overcoming your stress. If you have come as far as the Consultation, you have made the difficulties. first and hardest stepalready by talking to someone about those stressdifficulties and taking the first action towards making that positive difference in your life.
The things you think about and how you feel will have a profound effect on how you react and respond to whatever happens in your life. To make a positive difference in your life, I can help you re-learn how to use your thinking in an effective and confident manner.
To enable you to change direction, you will learn new skills which will help you shift from self-attack to self-acceptance so you can easily identify what it is that is stopping you from moving forward. Discover what works for you......It's a great way for beginning your journey forward
There are 2 different options here: where you can do the therapy link either by telephone, (landline or mobile,) or you can download Skype FREE from here, and talk to me through the Skype video link.
Please note, that if you wish to use Skype, you do need a good microphone (or headset) and a Web Camera (although a camera is optional)
You may prefer contact through the telephone or Skype because it is less daunting for you than face-to-face, and it is also more personable than email, because you are able to express your feelings or emotions verbally, therefore enabling you to have a naturally easy interaction with your therapist.
You have the option for me to phone you for your therapy sessions, or for you to phone me! Whichever is the easiest for you, and this will be arranged during your Free Consultation.
The only other contact we will have is through email, where I will send you weekly summaries or updates of your sessions, as well as any homework tasks or exercises to do, in between scheduled sessions.
All sessions are well structured and offer you practical steps in helping you make that positive difference in your life, where you are able to learn new Powerful and Effective life-skills, in which you can experience a Calm Stillness of the Mind, aRenewed Energy, AND help you to strengthen your CONFIDENCE.

There is also the option of buying a Relaxation CD as you progress through therapy. Learning new relaxation techniques can help you to build and develop a positive attitude; a sharper concentration; as well as enabling you to cultivate mindfulness.
Mindfulness is the process of making fundamental shifts in your relationship with your own inner experiences, so you can observe them without any judgement, condemnation, or rejection.
When you cease to struggle with a discomfort or problem, you bring in acceptance. Acceptance frees up energy within, so you can reflect more clearly, and act more appropriately and efficiently, thereby helping you change and grow with confidence.
To pay for your therapy treatment programme, payments need to be made in advance. You can do this either by separate payments once a week, before the beginning of your therapy session, (we will discuss the procedure during your consultation to make it easier for you) or you can bulk pay. (Payments not made before each session will lead that session to be cancelled, and late cancellations will not be refundable)
Once you are happy with your therapy programme (as discussed through your consultation), you will be able to click on the Pay Pal link below, and progress through your treatment with comfort and ease.
